Councillor Linda Heshka

As a long time resident of over 40 years, I have had the privilege and opportunity to enjoy the many outstanding facets of the City of Melville.  My husband Dale and I along with our 3 children were fortunate to have lived in a community that not only met our needs but exceeded our expectations.

I have been a long time educator(teacher, principal, manager) working for 33 years at the present Good Spirit School Division and 7 years for Suncrest College.  Today I hold the position of the Vice President of the Melville Superannuates Teachers’ Association.

I strongly believe in giving back to my community and as a result I ran for council.  Giving back to me means giving of my time and stewardship to Melville.  My goal is to promote our community so we can welcome all new and old citizens, to work as a team to assure its viability, and ensure a secure future for generations to come.

By “Embracing Change, Offering Opportunities and Encouraging Growth for a Promising Future”, I look forward to representing the citizens of Melville as we journey together through the next four years.
