Columbariums

Columbarium

A columbarium is a freestanding wall with compartments, or niches, to hold cremated remains.  Two urns of average size fit in one niche space. Each columbarium niche measures 12" wide, 12" tall and 14" deep. The columbarium is a granite faced and adorned with bronze inscribed plaques and bud vases to memorialize loved ones.

Memory Wall Option

Many people ask that their ashes be scattered over a lake, at a hunting camp, or at the cottage and this list goes on and onThis means that there is no record of the person or even a place where future generations can go visit and pay their respects.  Also, without this physical memorialization, the history of a community starts to disappear. One of the first places a historian starts when studying a person, family or even a community is the local cemetery.  Memory walls can help prevent the loss of this history.
