Columbarium
A columbarium is a freestanding wall with compartments, or niches, to hold cremated remains. Two urns of average size fit in one niche space. The columbarium is a granite faced, and adorned with bronze inscribed plaques and bud vases to memorialize loved ones.
Memory Wall Option
Many people ask that their ashes be scattered over a lake, at a hunting camp, or at the cottage and this list goes on and on…This means that there is no record of the person or even a place where future generations can go visit and pay their respects. Also, without this physical memorialization, the history of a community starts to disappear. One of the first places a historian starts when studying a person, family or even a community is the local cemetery. Memory walls can help prevent the loss of this history.
