Our Mission: Is to create awareness in Melville and the surrounding areas; and to help promote our valued Tourism Melville Members.
Our Marketing Membership is a promotion we run from year to year and is a great opportunity for your business to advertise in a variety of ways for a reasonable investment price. We are open from May to August and not only deal with visitors to the are but new and current residents of Melville as well.
We are offering a basic membership, benefits are listed below, which is a great start to promoting your business or organization. If you are looking for a more intense marketing campaign we have additional marketing options available; NEW this year we are offering benefits involving social media.
Basic Membership ($125.00) Includes
Mini-maps and Newsletters - "Tourist in Your Own Town":
Throughout the year we put together a minimum of four newsletters featuring a tourist attraction and a list of upcoming events. We also produce mini-maps of Melville which we provide to visitors and new residents of Melville. The mini-maps and newsletters will include a list of our members. These items will be available at the Tourism Centre and various businesses throughout the community.
How this will affect you: Your business/organization will be advertised in each newsletter and on the mini-map.

We have created an interactive and appealing new format. Our focus for this website is to create something both visitors and residents of Melville can use.
How this will affect you: Each member will have an enhanced listing of their business/organization on the website.

Facebook Shout Out:
Social Media is one of the most popular and effective ways of reaching people now a days. We will dedicate a week to your business. We can highlight services, history, and fun facts about your business...just to name a few.
How this will affect you: A week long shout out consisting of 3 posts on our Facebook Page (Tourism Melville).
Mini-Maps ($50.00 per business card ad): Are a 2-sided full colour 22'' X 13.5" wide paper and will include a map of Melville, a list of important phone numbers, events and attractions. These maps will be available through out the city, at the Tourism Centre, at promotional events and online.
How this will affect you: Besides the members being listed on the Mini-Map, we are providing an opportunity for members to purchase a limited number of business card size ads on the Mini-Map. (Priority will be given to past members. First come, first serve as there are only 12 spots available.)
Kiosks - Highway #10 & Tourism Centre ($100.00/year): There are 2 kiosks located on Highway #10 North and South, and 1 located at the Tourism Centre that display 8' X 10' maps of Melville with name plates for advertisers surrounding the map.
How this will affect you: Name plates for each member will surround the map at all 3 kiosks. Your business will also be numbered on the map making it easier to locate. (Priority will be given to past members. First come, first serve as there are only 18 spots available.)
Newsletter Article/Coupon ($25.00/year): We will be sending out a Tourism Newsletter 4 times a year. This newsletter will be sent to every post office box in Melville. We would like to give our members an opportunity to add a 1/4 page advertisement for their business for minimal cost of only $25.00! Content of the ad is at the choice of the business...story of your business, featured services, pictures, or coupons.
How this will affect you: You have the opportunity to add photos, menus, and coupons.
