The City of Melville will be expanding the Wastewater Treatment Facility thanks to funding received through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. The Government of Canada will invest over $4.3 million, and the Government of Saskatchewan over $3.6 million in this project. Construction is expected to begin during the Summer of 2022. Once complete, this project will increase the capacity to treat and manage wastewater.
Fires may start easily and spread quickly but there will be minimal involvement of deeper fuel layers or larger fuels.
