2025 Park Program Registration Information Coming Soon!
Registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Registration forms must be submitted by Thursday, June 26th at 12:00pm.**
- Pre-Registration is required. Drop ins will not be accepted.
- There are only 40 spots available for registration this year.
- This is a FREE program for children ages 6-12
- Email confirmations will be sent to successful registrants within 7 business day's of registering.
- Your child must remain with the groups at all times, if your child does not wish to participate in the planned activity, they must remain with their group on the sidelines.
- Registrants are expected to attend on a regular basis, absences from the Park Program need to be communicated to the Park Program Leaders in advance.
- Due to the high demand of the program, if your child has more than 3 consecutive absences without notification to the Park Program leaders, your child will forfeit their spot in the program which will be filled with someone from the waitlist.
- If your child is not in regular attendance (3 days or more a week) for 2 or more weeks, your child will forfeit their spot in the program which will be filled with someone from the waitlist.
- If your child does not follow program rules and/or is disrespectful to Program Leaders and peers, they will first be individually spoken to by the Leaders. If it continues the Leaders will speak with the parents regarding your child's behavior. If after speaking with parents behavior does not improve your child will be removed from the Park Program.
Park Program Information:
- The Park Program runs for 6 weeks through the months of July & August (July 7th- August 14th).
- The Park Program runs Monday's-Thursday's from 9:00am-3:30pm, with a lunch break from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
- There are supervised lunch hours if your child wishes to bring a bagged lunch and remain at the park over the lunch break.
- Each child is required to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, a towel, a swim suit and a change of clothes each day. A hat is highly recommended.
- Electronic devices such as phones, ipads, game systems etc. should be left at home. The City of Melville and the Summer Park Program are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
A 2025 Park Program Calendar of events will be emailed out to all registrants the week of July 1st.
