Beginning June 15, the 100 and 200 blocks of Second Avenue West will have a contractor repairing vertical displacements on the sidewalks. Please be aware that the sidewalk will NOT be closed, but there will be some loud noise and minimal dust.

Although there will be a minor inconvenience, these repairs will make the sidewalks in the City of Melville more walkable and accessible for our pedestrians, and we are committed to Active transportation initiatives and improving our sidewalks annually.
