3. Explore Our Parks

We are home to six playgrounds, two downtown parks, and four school playgrounds! More Info


4. Take a Silhouette Tour

Spread throughout the city are 40 silhouettes created by local artists to capture important moments in time. More Info


5. Take Your 4-legged Friends to the Dog Park

Melville is home to a beautiful fenced dog park featuring shady trees, a double-secure gate, and picnic tables. More Info


6. Go Swimming

In 2022, the brand new swimming pool opened featuring a beach-entry and toddler water features, diving board, lane swimming, and a two-story waterslide. More Info


7. Try Youth Fishing at the Trout Pond

The trout pond is a man-made pond created by the Melville Fish and Game League to provide children 12 and under with a free place to try out fishing. 


8. Test out the Disc Golf Course

Disc Golf is similar to regular golf except it is played with specific frisbees that are designed to curve around trees, shoot straight down the fairway, or go the distance. More Info

Located on the corner of 7th Ave East and Prince Edward St. is Melville's Skatepark, featuring smooth asphalt, ramps, and rails to practice your skills.

During the winter months, check out one of the various outdoor rinks spread throughout our city's parks. In the summer month, enjoy our indoor ice surface at the Horizon Credit Union Centre. More Info


17. Puddle Jump at the Spray Park

Located at the Kinsmen Park on the corner of 7th Ave West and Queen Street, the spray park is an accessible fun time!
