of St. Peter's Hospital as a tribute to the
Sisters of St. Martha, who served our
Hospital community for 40 years
1940 - 1980
PURPOSE:
To provide a serene, private area of relaxation for all patients, families, visitors and staff
FEATURES:
Gazebo, wheelchair walkway, a garden focal point, original plants taken from the former St. Peter's Hospital grounds, shrubs, trees, flowers and benches
DEDICATION:
A dedication of the garden was planned as a tribute to the Sisters of St. Martha at St. Peter's Hospital on June 29, 2005. This date was chosen since it is the Feast of St. Peter; the same day that the Sisters first viewed the Hospital in 1940

This project has been solely funded by donations and supported by many hours of volunteer time. We sincerely thank everyone for their contributions
