2026 Paving Project

The City of Melville’s 2026 Road Paving Project will begin Wednesday, September 23, with work being completed by Fedorowich Construction.

The project will be completed in two phases:

Phase 1 – Vanier Drive
Work will take place on Vanier Drive from 7th Avenue to Montreal Street and will include milling of the existing asphalt, full-depth road repairs, paving and road cooling.

Phase 2 – 100 Block of 7th Avenue West
Beginning approximately October 5, work will move to the 100 Block of 7th Avenue West and will include asphalt milling, paving and road cooling.

Residents in the affected areas can expect temporary road closures, parking changes and adjustments to garbage and recycling collection while work is underway. Information outlining how the construction will affect each area will be provided directly to affected residents.
